Evolution is no Social Darwinist

Perhaps no scientific notion has received more public attention than the biological theory of evolution. Unfortunately, this public coverage has done little to further an understanding of the facts behind the model and to clear up the many misunderstandings that make the acceptance of evolution an emotive issue rather than a scientific one for so many people. This article addresses on particular aspect of this, as it relates not only to our past, but also to our present and future as a species.
