I retired from teaching in a Secondary School where I ran a Department of Physical Education for a number of years before developing a Personal and Social Education Department, concentrating on Health Education, Equal Opportunities, Parenting, Safety and Careers for students 11-18 years old. I also taught Marketing and Customer Service in Leisure and Tourism to Sixth Form students.
Since retiring and spending my time playing golf and travelling I wanted a new challenge and so I enrolled on a Writer's Bureau Creative Writing Course, completing it after 2 years.
I like to write articles about a wide range of topics, as well as autobiographical and fictional pieces and have published over 20 of these.
I have 2 short stories on Kindle:' The Perks of Rosie's Job',about a devious and ambitious postal delivery girl and 'A Dangerous Game,' a murder on the golf course. I have used my real name Terrie Plowman.
Since joining Infobarrel I've had the following articles featured:-
