Terry Didcott is a writer, website designer and online entrepreneur who for the last two years has steadily built up his online business to the point where he no longer has to "work" at a job or for a "boss".

"Self sufficiency is absolutely the right thing for me," he says, "as I just cannot understand why anyone would want to work their guts out for a pittance in order to make their boss even richer."

He now lives happily by the coast in southern Spain with his partner, Janice. He spends some of his free time doing what he has always enjoyed, which is playing guitar in a local band in a local bar or two and having a good time.

"Life is for enjoying and being happy. The Internet has enabled me to do that by freeing me from the drudgery of working set hours and commuting to and fro every day. Now I work from home when I want to and if I fancy taking a break and going for a walk along the beach, I can without having to ask anyone's permission. That's freedom!"
