Hi Everbody!  My name is Ed and I live and work in the Houston area in Occupational Safety and Health field.  My passion is helping people who are suffering mental and emotional problems surrounding a genital herpes diagnosis. 

Genital herpes is the second most stigmitized condition in the United States.  This is distrubing because the stigma reflects a direct public ignorance towards the virus.  Herpes is nothing more than an irritating skin disease with symptoms rarely causing serious pain and discomfort.

The emotional pain is much worse than the actual virus.  Once diagnosed with herpes people feel that their lives are over.  They often withdraw from social activities and single people will often onlly seek out and date other with the virus for fear of rejection.
