Hi! I am a 49 year old, single woman living in Abbotsford, Canada.  I am a Certified Canine Trainer who has worked for the past 14 years in the pet industry.  I also have five other dog related tickets to my credit.  Dogs are one of my main interests.
I also enjoy playing many different types of music on the acoustic guitar.  For me, playing the guitar is an emotional outlet.  Sometimes it transcends emotion and takes on a spiritual aspect.  I am a spiritual person, but my practise of lately is lacking.  I wish I could say that I have been meditating daily, but to say that would be a lie.  Thank-fully it is progressing on the journey that counts, not perfection.
My life has definitly had it's ups and downs.  From the time I left my parents home until a few years ago I was involved in things that I would not even think of today.  Life is a journey of continous learning. Thank god for that.
Thanks for your time,

Is the Canadian Kennel Club Failing To Live Up To Its Mandate?

You would think that the "Canadian Kennel Club" would stand for animal rights.  We could hope that the CKC would guard against anyone who abuses an animal.  We might assume that the CKC encourages practises which promote the health of dogs.  The truth is that their very mandate or Mission...

How to select the right puppy

There are a few things to consder when purchasing a puppy. It is best to find a breeder who is willing to let you see the mother and all of the litter. Ask alot of questions as many health concerns are transmitted from bitch and/or sire to the puppies. Then take you time to observe the litter. By watching the puppies interact you will get a good idea of what that puppy wil be like as an adult.
