Hi everyone!
My name is Mary and I am lucky enough to live on The Isle of Lewis, which is off the North West Coast of Scotland. In the old days, they called it The Outer Hebrides but now it goes by the much less romantic name of The Western Isles.
I'm married to Phil and have two wonderful children, Laura and Robert.
I'm so thrilled that I've found InfoBarrel. Now I have a shot at doing what I love for a living.
I'm in it for the marathon, not the sprint.

Five Famous People Who Were Exhumed and Then Buried Again

Human remains may be exhumed - or dug up again after burial - for many reasons. Sometimes an old burial ground is disturbed when building works occur. A criminal investigation may require that a body is exhumed for further testing. There is also illegal exhumation as performed by 'body snatchers'. Legal exhumation needs a court order to grant permission and/or the permission of the next of kin of the deceased. In some cultures, graves are deliberately opened again after some years. This happens in areas of Southern China such as Taiwan. The bones of their relatives are ritually dug up, cleaned, left to dry and then put into a ceramic pot to be buried elsewhere. In Vietnam, they are placed into a smaller coffin and the family take them home. If this isn't done, it's considered an act of great disrespect. In this article, we're going to take a look at five famous people who were exhumed and then buried again. Well, six to be exact. You get two for one with Edgar Allan Poe and his wife.

10 Famous People Who Died on the Toilet

Let's face it - none of us are getting out of here alive. I'm guessing most of us would prefer to shuffle off this mortal coil with some shred of dignity. Dying on the toilet is not dignified. And yet, many famous people have succumbed in this way. A life of glamour and money ended in humiliation - it's really rather sad.
