I am an early retired Baby Boomer who have parlayed all my life's experience, knowledge and teachings into something very special to me: writing how-to's on Firehow and self opinions and editorial-like pieces on Triond.
Growing up as Baby Boomer's did, reading was very important to us and many of us dreamed of writing something meaningful, somewhere,  somehow.  Perhaps I never would   have  written had  I not retired and finally looked to the Internet.  Until then, the Internet was a scary place as I was raising a son and I had to work outside of the home and I did not want him to be drawn into it.  He is now a successful Military man. 

I love to read, write, travel, create recipes, enjoy the sounds of Charlie Parker and Henry Mancini when I need that second wind. I want to learn new things and enjoy my life because my window of life at 62 is not the same as when 22 and moments count, people count, what I do counts.  Thank you.
