I'm a volunteer English teacher, a Himalayan hermit, a weathergeek, an obsessive journaler and a current events freak who is back and forth between Minnesota and northern India at least once or twice a year. Some of my best friends are Tibetan refugees, along with an interesting cast of perimeter-dwelling characters scattered across the globe. And though I can pretend to be gregarious and outgoing... I am actually an insufferable introvert.
