I don't even know where to begin. I'm a 20 something beer distributor living in the Northwest corner of the contential USA. I'm intrested in a lot of things and I like to learn as much as I can about them. Currently I focus on homebrewing beer; craft beer; a Google maps based web app; long distance cycling in summer; and snowboarding Mt. Baker in winter.
Last summer I rode my bicycle 2100 miles from the Canadian border to the Mexican border. During the ride I used a really excellent but expensive set of maps to make my way south. Every day I'd unfold the maps to the section I'd be riding and think to myself: "damn it! all the information on here could be found using Google!"
When I got back to reality (Bellingham, WA) I started writing a web app that cyclists can use to plot routes and print them out. I got into this web 2.0 marketing/SEO nonsense when I started promoting my web app. I had never done anything like it before and I found some great resources for site promotion by getting into the SEO community. I don't consider myself a real SEO, I just research and dabble.
For this site I plan to let my interests run wild. I pretty good at finding new things to get intrigued by and I've got more experience than I'd like to admit doing research. I'm betting that with those two traits combined I can write some killer infobarrel articles.
