The paleo diet is a way of eating based on how our ancestors ate pre-agricultural revolution. The main foods included in this diet are fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and seafood. All of these foods contain beneficial nutrients that advocators of this lifestyle say promote good health, and are low in the foods that are most commonly associated with weight gain, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and numerous other health problems.
