Writing is the way I make sense of the world.

I have been writing online since August, 2008.  I was hooked after earning my first $0.07.  Writing online takes perseverance because it is not an easy or fast way to make money.  I've spent a significant amount of time researching search engine optimization (SEO) and keyword research.  Check out Market Samurai for free SEO and keyword research tools.  Writing articles does require the time and effort to learn and apply new skills, but so does any other job or new hobby.

If you are new to InfoBarrel or writing for passive income, be patient. Writing will pay off if you are willing to put in the time.  InfoBarrel has a writing community that fosters learning and is a phenomenal resource.   Other than writing at IB, I also write and recommend Seekyt.   
Writing online is a great way to supplement your income.
