My "real job" is as a civil engineer. What I really love to do is backpack, fly fish and practice landscape photography. I also enjoy writing, and, since my friends tell me I'm a well-spring of useless knowledge, I figured InfoBarrel would be a great outlet for writing about the stuff that crosses my mind (without the trouble of maintaining yet another blog). You can expect several articles on hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, simple living/minimalism and photography from me. I'm married to a wonderful girl named Jacqulyn (yes, that means I'm married to Jacqulyn Kennedy!), and we happily reside in North Alabama. Thanks for reading!
