If you want to authorize someone to manage your finances or assets because you are not capable of doing this due to illnesses, incapacity or absence, you require to sign a Power of Attorney (POA). This gives the assigned person the power and authority to decide on your behalf. The one granting the power of attorney is the Donor and the person being granted the (POA) is known as the Donee.
