First I'd like to ask that if you find anything enjoyable here that you check back on them from time to time as none are static. I am constantly rewriting them hoping for improvement. Comments and suggestions from other creative writing members are always greatly welcomed and encouraged, yet sadly, so incredibly rare in here. For those who take the time, thank you. It has been said, that the only way to become a good writer is to write and that, like killers, writers are made, not born.

I began writing when I was about twelve years old but due to life's distractions I stopped for a number of decades. Now I know it is my hearts passion and one I can no longer ignore.

I have several PHD's and Master Degrees in life, hard work, poor decisions, lost loves, loosing family and friends, living alone and am currently studying for my next thesis on happiness, true love, Christ, living, my daughter and my God.

My past, travels, past loves, past mistakes are a major source of inspiration as one can easily see. Most of my fictional short stories are only half fiction and even my fantasy tales, such as "Maternal Instinct", "Pico", "Legacy", and others, are based upon my life experiences, questions and lessons learned, like the loss of innocence, mans desire for legacy, our addiction to and absolute need for love, etc.

I have traveled fairly extensively in the last 10 years or so to destinations such as, England, France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, The Faeroe Islands, The Azores, Mexico, The Bahamas, China, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Belize. but have put further travel dreams on hold for now.

I believe that it is impossible for a human to write disconnected from his or her experience, perspective, and or his or her own particular angle, therefore I offer no apologies for my opinions.Besides, all fiction is autobiographical.

I believe in love at first sight, romance, passion, true love, soul mates, fairy tale happily ever afters, chocolate, marriage, America, the American Soldier, Christ and God, not necessarily in that order. No one and no thing, not even my own horrible mistakes, failures and sorrows can make me believe otherwise.

God Bless and Good Luck.

As you read please keep in mind that stories are always unfinished works. Don't expect pearls or gleaming gems yet smile if beneath that moss ridden rock you discover the luster of one sand polished stone.

There is little more miserable and persistent than an unwritten story weighing on ones soul.

Stories are like tomatoes, no matter how ripe they may appear, they are never completely finished.

Writing a story is like painting a large room with lots of trim, no matter how long you paint, there are always areas needing repair.
