Tiete River Pollution

This article is about the polution I saw and experienced first hand from 1994 to 1996 while living in one of the largest cities in the world- Sao Paulo, Brazil. In no way am I deriding Brazil for the polution prevalant in the megaopolis Sao Paulo and the river Tiete that flows through it. I'm simply relating what I saw and experienced.
