Using Jobfox to Avoid Scam Job Listings

By | Oct 16, 2010 | 5 Comments | Rating: 0

I have been signed up with Jobfox for several years and one thing I noticed is that the website changes with the economy. As competition is greater, my webpage has been redesigned to catch any employer's attention. While I am currently employed, thanks to a connection made through Jobfox, I still receive "clicks" from potential employer's that take a look at my interactive view page. Please know that the blogs out here saying that this site is a scam are completely untrue. If it's a "scam" to make me appear better on their site than other potential sites, then please scam away.

There is also an introductory page that employers will see when reviewing your profile, which is one of the best features because it is your own words. Your page is assigned a url address, and I recommend attaching that address to any social network or email you have. If you apply for a job and attach your url address, you have already given that employer/networking friend a better look inside your career and what you can do. Make sure to include all information about yourself, other then age/race of course. The website takes every detail about you and categorizes it to the specific skill and education level you have. The more you have, the more attractive you appear. However, no matter your experience, this site will capture your finest.

I read an article concerning the dissatisfaction of someone that was displeased with their resume service and complained their resume did not produce more interviews. However, in that same blog, words were misspelled. Well if this is how a person represents themselves, it is unfair to blame anyone else or even use the words that you have been scammed. A friend of mine joined Jobfox and purchased that same resume service. Although she was wary of making such a big purchase, she was very pleased at the result. Even when she requested to have it earlier then the contract stated, Jobfox honored her request. Her actual words were "Alex did a fabulous job." Jobfox is great and I recommend their site and services to everyone. Considering you can cancel your service at anytime, it may be one of those leaps you want to take. No other site can offer what they do or present you in such a way that they can. No Jobfox scam exists, but there are definitely great possibilities.

I've continued to research Jobfox and I don't even see a hint of fraudulent activity. There is no scam. Its just a well run website that is being attacked by its competitors for approaching the job search market from a different angle. I wish them luck, and I think they will definitely be successful. Bottom line, for those of you searching "jobfox scam".... there just isn't one. Its false accusations by competitors of Jobfox.

I've gotten a lot of feedback on other sites of people who have had success in finding a job on jobfox. the things they tell me they like the most are: the matching engine, the jobfox scam policy, and the easy-to-use interface. Other things that have been mentioned to me that people like are the resume tips, interview tips, special deals, etc.

Jobfox really seems to be growing as a site - if you haven't already registered, it'd be a good idea to get started today. They just announced a new product called Boost that could theoretically change the job hunting landscape, so its probably a smart bet to get in early to start establishing early connections.

Jobfox continues to be on a growth tear in traffic according to compete.com. The Jobfox scam policy, from what I can tell, seems to really set them apart from other competing job sites. I'll continue my analysis and continue to update the infobarrel article as I obtain more intel.
