Using Practice Job Interview Questions And Answers To Get Prepared

By | Mar 31, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

If you know that you are heading in for one or more job interviews, you want to do everything you can to get yourself prepared and ready. Each job interview is going to be different and will come with its own set of job interview questions and answers. It is important to make sure that you are prepared and one of the best ways of doing that is practicing with job interview questions and answers. You do not want to be sitting there flabbergasted or have your mind go blank and not know what to say, which is why you should take the time to prepare yourself.

One of the most common questions asked in job interviews is what do you bring to the job? You do not want to answer any question like a robot and instead make your answers very personal rather than general. You could tell them about a work position you had before where you were in a leadership role and had to manage things and make sure that they got done right. Tell them about any job that you had where you may have been in a leadership position and had to manage and get things done.

They are also likely to ask you what your goals are. Of course you want to tell them that your goals for now are to get hired for this position. If that means you have to do a bit of white lying here and there, so be it. This shows them that you are interested in the same field and that it would make sense for you to get hired for this job.

For instance if you were applying to a clothing store to work in fashion and told them that your future goals were to be a tennis star, they may not hire you because they see that your interests are not in fashion. You will probably also be asked what your salary expectations for the job are. If you felt it was a little low for the position offered, you may want to say that you usually work for more than that but would be willing to stick with that for the job because you are so interested in it. This is going to show them confidence and they may even be willing to offer you more.

Remember, the questions asked are going to be different from one job interview to the next. Of course the last thing you want to do is offer to work for any less, not only because this is not smart on your behalf but also it is going to show them that you are not confident of your skills. The most important thing is that you practice so you can be quick on your feet and not be left flabbergasted with nothing to say at the interview. Of course the questions will vary from one job interview to the next but the most important thing is that you prepare yourself so that you have the best chances of getting the job.
