Don’t spam and Establish credibility. The first and most important thing to remember is that you want to create confidence among the people you network with on social media sites. If your potential customers can see that you are very active in social networks by consistently sharing your knowledge on real estate investments with your contacts, then you will be considered a valuable member of the social media website community. You need to develop trust among your followers.

Many people always spam and try to sell clients and plead for new clients everyday and then they abandon social media marketing because they say that it de snot work for them. This is the wrong way to do it. You freely share information that is helpful to people who follow you and then the leads will come to you as your level of trust is built-up. You will not be seen as simply another real estate agent looking to spam but you will instead be seen as a trusted and reputable real estate agent. This trust will pay off in the long run when you have numerous people referring customers to you for free because they trust you.

Define your product or service. If you define your home buying or selling services on the social media will help to create an awareness of your area of expertise. You can communicate confidence in your product or service by delivering important messages about what it is that you do, but again do not spam messages. Be sure that they are written in an informative and concise manner. You also need to determine what formats such as text, audio or video you want to use to deliver important messages about your product or service.

Create content: create quality content that supports the key messages you have on your real estate investment product or service. The content must be high quality if you have to earn respect and trust the people you want to network with.

In addition, you must keep your target audience in mind when creating content. For example, you specialize in offering seminars to other investors, real estate; does not offer content that is independent of what you do. Stays focused and relate content to your area of expertise. Remember that social media cannot be random, if you want to be successful. As anything else, it has to have a specific plan and makes sense to your audience. It is better to have 1,000 targeted followers on Twitter instead of 20,000 non-targeted followers.

Test the content. Once you have created the content, test it by encouraging response and feedback to your social media page. When you begin to receive questions and feedback, narrows the content further and then test it again.

Start promoting yourself by getting involved in the Community on the social networking site that you have chosen. Start Introduction to the other and offer to promote their content in exchange for promoting their content. Make the other person's content is of high quality or that could compromise your reputation. Although the Internet is a great Community, travel word still stuck in a social networking Community.

Promoting high-quality content is on your social network page and look for other people that could potentially affect your product or service in a positive way.

Start your own group: Start your own social network group and invite others to share their experiences, questions and expertise. By being the manage of your own Facebook Fan page you can build up and encourage your own fan base who return to the site daily to see what new information you are freely sharing with them. If you help enough potential customers to save money and make money then eventually they will be able to help you make more money by using your services to help them buy or sell a piece of property.

Most real estate agents find more success by focusing on getting potential clients who are interested in selling their home. If you are selling a home for a client then you will have potentially every other real estate agent in the area helping to show the property to their clients. You tend to earn more money overall by focusing on sellers as opposed to buyer, but the truly lucrative money comes when you have people who continually use your services and refer you to all of their friends and family.
