Make a batch of Be-Mine brownies for your special someone this Valentine's Day. This brownie recipe is simple and can be made in approximately an hour. Nothing says I love you more than a delicious chocolate treat made by you.

Things You Will Need

3/4 cup unsalted butter, plus more for ramekins

8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped

3 large eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2/3 cup all-purpose flour

Step 1

Preheat your oven at 350 degrees farenheit. Butter eight 6-ounce ramekins and place onto a baking sheet.

Step 2

Place a double boiler onto the stove. Combine the chocolate and butter into the top boiler. Add water to the bottom boiler. Stir the chocolate and butter over the simmering water until melted. Remove from heat and let cool for five minutes.

Step 3

Combine the three eggs, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat the ingredients together until frothy (usually takes two minutes). Add the chocolate into the mixture and whisk.

Step 4

Fold in the flour until thoroughly combined. Divide the mixture among the eight prepared ramekins. Bake the filled ramekins on the baking sheet until the sides are firm and the center is slightly soft. The total baking time is usually 18 to 20 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let completely cool.

Step 5

Place a heart shaped stencil on top of each brownie. If you do not have a stencil, you can create one by cutting a heart shape out of a piece of paper. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Carefully remove the stencil from the brownie. This recipe makes eight browines.
