Best 2012 Halloween Costumes - Vampire Costumes

Vampire costumes are perfect Halloween costumes to wear to this year's costume party or even just for a crazy night on the town. However, no longer are you required to dress soley in traditional vampire outfits. While that option still remains, you are no longer confined to traditional attire and can, instead, dress as dangerous or as sexy as you choose. In fact, because vampire lore has long been tied to sex and sex appeal, many of the costumes now available are, in a word, "hot!" Here are some of my favorite Halloween vampire costumes.

Love Bite Vampire Adult Costume

First up is the Love Bite Vampire Adult Costume. You are not looking at cupid here but she will definitely get your attention. This sexy vampire outfit comes complete with an embellished neck piece and mini hat and bat-like wings. The red and black corset top and skirt comes attached with garters. It is available in adult sizes small, medium and large. These measurements differ from the size chart -- chest measurements range from 28-31 inches. Please note that the high heels are not included but the costume certainly looks better with them!

Dracula Velvet Dress Adult

Next, is the Dracula Velvet Dress Adult Costume. As is evident by this costume, apparently Dracula needs more than blood! This Dracula costume comes in adult sizes extra small (3-5), small (5-7), medium (8-10), large (11-13) and extra-large (14-16). The black velvet dress is long and very form fitting long, and features a sexy high cut slit up the front. A black bodice with red laced ribbon, diamond cut out in the lower back, wide white collar with white lace trim and wide bell sleeves complete this walker of the night look. The backside of this outfit is accentuated with a large red satin bow. Finally, a black choker is included. Sweet! The boots are not included so make sure to pick up a pair for the finishing look.

Gothic Countess Nocturna Adult Costume

Finally, your search would not be complete without considering the Gothic Countess Nocturna Adult Costume. Recognized as gothic elite, this elegant costume makes for a great dark and daring damsel. This ensemble includes a fitted black bodice that is molded to your own body build with the use of lace-up ribbons in the back, an attached flowing skirt, ruched plum peplum that rests on the hips and matching crushed velvet fingerless gloves with black lace accents. This Halloween costume is available in adult sizes large with waist measurements and chest measurements between 34-41 inches and 38-42 inches respectively.
