You may not know this, but Christmas lighting has been around since the 1800s. The Christmas tree first appeared publically in the late 1800s at the White House. This is a great way to bring a nostalgic feel to your Christmas decorations this year. Over time, many new Christmas light sets were designed. Bubble lights first appeared in the 1940s. Modern day blinking lights first appeared in the 1950s. Generic Electric faced new competition from many companies for Christmas lights. As the 1970s came, most people were buying their Christmas lights from foreign companies all over the world. In today's society, Vintage Christmas Lights are more popular than ever. I encourage you to bring a nostalgic feel to your Christmas decorations this year.
