Where does one find vintage hats for sale?

Thrift stores
Secondhand stores are treasure troves for everything vintage. When you shop vintage hats for sale at thrift stores, you are likely going to find that everything is really very cheap! Sometimes you can actually come across things that are being sold for next to nothing but that might actually be worth something if you try and resell it. Another thing about shopping vintage hats for sale in these places is that you are going to be virtually unlimited in what kinds of styles you come across. It's not like a second hand shop is going to carry any one sort of hat, so you will be exposed to just about every style you can think of; whatever people have turned in lately.

Specialty vintage shops
Specialty vintage shops will always have a hat selection. The kind of hat style that you run into is going to depend on what type of vintage store you are in. If you are looking for a Victorian era vintage hat, you would clearly alter your search for stores that cater to this time period. Urban areas tend to be full of vintage stores where you can find hats, but you may also want to turn your attention to antique stores, as they may also be able to offer you hats that are from a time period that you are looking for.

Online vintage hats for sale
Online is a great place to shop for anything vintage because when you do, you expand your search parameters exponentially. Type in a Google search, including the type of vintage hat that you are looking for. You can search through Google images as a whole in order to find a kind of hat that you like. When you find one that you think you may be interested in buying, simply click on the image to be directed to the company who is selling it.

Etsy
If you are interested in vintage style hats and clothing and have never visited this website, you are missing out in a big way. Etsy is made up of a bunch of individual sellers who create "stores" of handmade arts and crafts, and vintage collections. Some sellers recreate vintage fashions in a beautiful way; everything from dresses to t-shirts, scarves to jeans. Other sellers collect true vintage items and resell them online. They have many vintage hats that are true vintage (both ladies and mens vintage hats). The prices tend to be very fair and you get several different images of the thing that you are considering buying; typically modeled on a real person. Etsy is a lot of fun; it's like antique shopping from home. Be sure and check it out.

Craigslist and eBay
Craigslist and eBay are both great places to look when you are looking for vintage hats. All you have to find is someone who is looking to clean out their closets for more space! eBay can allow you to buy a specific vintage hat for sale for really cheap; you can score big savings with auction pricing!
