Philadelphia Zoo Discounts for 2016

When you are planning your visit to the city of Brotherly Love, make sure you visit the Philadelphia Zoo with discount admission tickets. This landmark is America’s first zoo, which opened in 1874. Built on fourty-two acres and home to over thirteen hundred animals, your discount admission tickets provide you with more to do than you can actually so in one day!

The Philadelphia Zoo has sixteen different habitats, which are both indoor and outdoor, as well a separate petting area. There are also eight rides which are not included in the price of admission.

Become a Member

Membership has it’s benefits, and that is certainly true when you become a member. You simply pay one price for the year and get into the zoo as often as you like and not pay again. So each time you visit, the cost of your admission per visit decreases.

There are also other benefits to zoo membership. You will not have to pay for parking, which cost twelve dollars. You also get free admission to two other venue attractions, Treehouse and Lorikeet Encounter. Additional discounts are provided on other Zoo activities, like workshops and programs.

The best discount of all with your yearly membership is the reciprocity of over one hundred zoos and aquariums across the country. You will be admitted for free or at a discounted price, provided you show proof of membership and another form of identification. So when you travel, you have access to zoos across America.

Philadelphia CityPass Discounts

CityPass is the ultimate discount pass for visitors to Philadelphia. For one price, you get free admission to six different tourist destinations in the city, including the Zoo. Military Discount

It is a small discount, but this place offers two dollars off the price of admission ticket for active military personnel. These tickets have to be purchased the day of the visit and a valid Military ID must be shown.
