What are the health benefits of Vitamin Water Essential?

Vitamin Water Essential easily has the most nutrients available compared to any other flavor of Glaceau's popular drinks, and arguably provides the best health benefits as well. The best way to go about figuring out what health benefits are provided in Vitamin Water Essential is to break it down and go over each nutrient by themselves.

A - Provides several important health benefits like maintaining healthy skin, hair, and mucous membrane. It also promotes bone growth and prevents night blindness. This nutrient requires a pre-cursor, and by eating foods with healthy fats in them you can optimize your absorption.

B3 - Also known as Niacin, is great for converting food into energy and preventing rashes on the face, hands, and feet. B3 is necessary for a good working digestive system and maintaining healthy skin and nerves. Large doses provide a great health benefit for those who have trouble with cholesterol levels, as it helps lower them.

B5 - Also known as Pantothenic Acid, is actually produced by your intestinal bacteria. It's great for forming several kinds of hormones and breaking down and forming good fats.

B6 - Provides a relatively hefty amount of health benefits including helping you form red blood cells, regulate the nervous system, and sometimes even reduce the severity of asthma attacks. B6 is needed for efficient and proper metabolisation of protein and carbohydrates.

B12 - May protect against heart disease and nerve damage. Coupled with folic acid, B12 is great for building blood and nerve cells.

C - Is a super-nutrient that doubles as an antioxidant and provides loads of health benefits. As an antioxidant, it helps neutralize damaging free radicals which in turn reduce the risk of cancers of the mouth, throat, stomach, and pancreas. As a nutrient, it excels at boosting your immune system, healing your wounds, fighting infections, and alleviating symptoms of common ailments such as the cold. These aren't the only health benefits, indeed there are even more. It also helps you keep healthy gums, blood vessels, and bones, and helps with iron absorption.

E - Is one of the best parts about Vitamin Water Essential. This is because not only does this nutrient provide a plethora of important health benefits, but it's also one of those nutrients that a lot of people don't get enough of because it is not in a lot of foods. This super nutrient is known to protect against some kinds of cancers, heart disease, lung damage, Alzheimer's Disease, night blindness, and cataracts. It's also very helpful in forming and protecting vital cells. This is another nutrient that requires a pre-cursor, so be sure to eat a healthy meal in order to properly absorb this nutrient.

Calcium - Is very important for maintaining healthy bones and teeth, and reduces the risk of osteoporosis when a sufficient amount is taken from childhood. Calcium has a very diverse array of health benefits including helping transport other nutrients across cell membranes, relieving premenstrual symptoms, lowers the risk of colon cancer, maintaining a healthy alkaline pH level, protecting your heart, and maintaining a desirable weight.

Iron - Is a mineral that has several health benefits, namely reducing or even reversing anemia. It also helps brain and muscle function, hemoglobin formation, carries oxygen, regulates body temperature, fights fatigue, and strengthens your immune system.

Potassium - Provides health benefits such as reducing anxiety and stress, cramps, the risk of stroke and muscle, heart, and kidney disorders; as well as improving brain function, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, muscle strength, and the nervous system.

Selenium - Provides some extremely important health benefits as it acts as an antioxidant and is one of the potent nutrients for fighting and preventing cancer and heart disease, the two number 1 killers among Americans. It can be hard getting Selenium in your diet with the limited amount of foods it is found in, so Vitamin Water Essential is an excellent source for this very beneficial nutrient.

Zinc - Is excellent for your immune system, skin, sperm, fatigue, night blindness, regulating enzymes and weight loss. Zinc also acts as an antioxidant and may prevent certain types of cancer, namely those of the prostate in males.

Is anything in Vitamin Water Essential bad for me?

There is much controversy surrounding Vitamin Water Essential and all of the other flavors of Glaceau's nutrient-enhanced drinks. Let's go over the most common arguments that people use to claim that these drinks are bad for you.

No fruit juice - Some people get upset when they see there is little to no fruit juice used in Vitamin Water Essential, though Glaceau has never claimed that they use fruits in Vitamin Water Essential or any of their other products. There are other ways of putting nutrients in food without using fruit.

Too much sugar - One bottle of Vitamin Water Essential contains about 33g of sugar. A lot of people automatically assume that sugar is bad for you, which is only true for certain kinds of people. Additionally, the sugar content is still relatively low compared to 20 ounces of soda which use high fructose corn syrup, not cane sugar or crystalline fructose (which are different and slightly better for you). If you have diabetes, then you would be better off with some V8 (realistically, everyone would be better off with a V8). If you don't exercise, then you shouldn't be consuming a lot of sugar, and Vitamin Water Essential may not be the best way of going about getting your nutrients.

However, if you are a healthy individual with good blood sugar levels and you get 30 minutes to an hour's worth of exercise every day, sugar is harmless for you. It is also well-known that sugar acts as a boat for some nutrients and help carry them through the blood stream. Vitamin Water Essential is arguably the best flavor to choose from when it comes to health benefits.
