Walking for your health is probably the easiest way for you to exercise. We do it every day. You would be surprised how many miles you put on in an average day. But there is more that you can do. In America there is an epidemic, we are the leading nation when it comes to obesity. 13% of kids today are overweight or obese. This is a scary fact. With all the new technology that us baby boomers didn't have our children sit at home in front of their computers and video games all day long. As a child, during the summer I was never home. Walking also helps your joints become more flexable and walking is less stressful on your joints than many other forms of exercise. Walking is natural, we all do it every day. Adding a mile of two after your meal or whenever you have the time is the right thing to do.
