Walt Disney World Tips--Tips on Planning a Disney World Vacation
Using Walt Disney World tips to help you plan your vacation can help make sure that you have the best time possible. Through careful planning, you'll be able to see all the characters you want to see, ride all of your favorite rides and not spend a lot of money doing so.
Here are some Walt Disney World tips for planning your trip to Disney:
1. Be careful about the date you select. If you're looking to save money at Disney, then you should plan your trip during the off-season. Some people, however, want to experience a special event at Disney World--the park has special activities and shows during certain times of year, such as Christmas, New Year's and Fourth of July. If the kids are out of school, you may find that the park is more crowded, as many families plan to go during these times. When you decide to go to Disney is up to you, but be sure to choose the date carefully.
2. Loosely plan your days at Disney World. The park features the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach. You need to choose which parks you want to go to and on which days. If possible leave a few days open so that you can go back and visit your favorite park.
3. Use a map to plan the details of your day. You can waste a lot of time moving from attraction to attraction and waiting in lines. The park map can help you to create a game plan. For example, many people will enter the park and go onto the closest ride--you should head on over to the one that's furthest away, which will have a shorter line. You'll also want to do things that are close together at a similar time.
4. Think about where you want to eat ahead of time. Some of the restaurants are quite popular and require a reservation. You may want to make this reservation even before you get to Orlando. If saving money is your goal, then it's smart to pack food with you for the day.
5. Pack your bags wisely. You're backpack, that is. You can take things with you into the park and you want to make sure that you have all the necessities with you because they will be much more expensive once you are inside the park. Be sure to take sunblock, a hat, a bottle of water and any diapers and wipes that you might need. If your child has a special lovie that he has to have around him at all times, such as a stuffed animal, a binky, or a blanket, be sure to pack that as well.
When you properly plan your trip to Disney, you can be certain that you'll have the time of your life. Without planning, however, you may not do all the things that you want to do.
