Want Liposuction without Negative Liposuction Side Effects?
One's physical appearance is very important in today's society. There is a lot of importance placed on looking your best, whether for business, social, or even family life, and especially for one's love life. Most people probably wouldn't mind losing a few pounds. Sometimes, even with proper diet and exercise, there are stubborn body fat stores that just will not go away, no matter you do. A lot of people have a little lower belly "pooch", or, most common in women, some extra arm flab. The one sure fire way to lose this fat is have it sucked out of through a plastic surgery procedure called liposuction.
As stated above, liposuction is a plastic surgery procedure in which body fat is literally sucked out of your body. Liposuction uses a thin, hallow, metal tube called a cannula which is inserted through tiny incisions. The cannula is attached to a powerful machine that provides the suction. Liposuction is a sure fire way to remove body fat in cases when nothing else has worked.
However, before you consider getting liposuction, you must be aware of several liposuction side effects. Although the side effects of liposuction are generally mild, you should be well informed and know exactly what you are getting yourself into. The main liposuction side effect experienced by most people is that they will experience pain after the surgery. This is normal with any surgical procedure. The pain will not be severe and should go away pretty soon. The pain will be fairly significant for the first two days, but your doctor will most likely prescribe you some medication to make it more bearable. After this period, you will begin to feel much better, and should be able to touch the area fairly lightly without too much discomfort.
The next two liposuction side effects that will be experienced by everyone are bruising and swelling. Immediately following your surgery, the area that was treated will be severely discolored and bruised. It may be a bright pinkish color at first, or black and blue, like a traditional bruise. The bruising and swelling will slowly fade over the next couple of months, and they are nothing to be alarmed about. However, one thing to keep in mind during your liposuction recovery is that you should avoid rigorous exercise.
Most people are very pleased with the outcome of their liposuction. The side effects of liposuction are very significant and do not deter most people. The pain, bruising and swelling will not last very long. The only semi permanent liposuction side effect is a tiny scar where the cannula was inserted. However, the scar will fade very fell and be almost invisible after a year or so.
Most the liposuction side effects listed above can be significantly reduced if you find a really good plastic surgeon. Be sure to see before and after pictures of liposuctions he has performed on his previous patients. If your doctor is very experienced, performing the procedure without harmful liposuction side effects shouldn't be hard. Also, keep in mind that is OK to pay a little more for a really good doctor. Cosmetic surgery prices should not be given priority of finding the right doctor.
