Thanks to the marvels of modern technology, more and more functionality can be crammed into smaller and smaller volumes. This day and age, our phones are also mp3 players and cameras. And our washing machines can now also dry! Or should I say that our drying machines can now also wash? However you want to look at it, integrated washer dryer combinations are now a reality! Recently, we've purchased one of these and I must say that I wish I had done so a year ago. The time I ended up saving with this baby is incredible.

The greatest advantage of having a washer tumble dryer condenser, is that it takes up a lot less space than a washing machine and a drying machine separately do. A lot of people are downsizing, partly due to the credit crunch. Me and my family have also noticed the effects of the economy's dire state. We had to move into a smaller home and our existing household appliances didn't fit anymore. We found an electronics store that had a special deal where you got to trade in your old machines in exchange for a discount on a newer machine.

So we ended up purchasing the LG WM3431HW Washer Dryer Combo. Its price was over $1000, but by trading in our old appliances, we got it for slightly more than $750. This is an expense we wouldn't normally make, but moving into a smaller home gave us some extra savings to spend on stuff we needed. And now that I've got my washer dryer combo, I'm very happy with it. The machine will take large loads of clothing. Having a washer and dryer in one is the best you can ask for. No more transferring loads of washed clothes into a separate dryer.

This machine does it all for us. I basically just throw in all the dirty laundry in the morning, before I go to work. Then, when I get home, I can take a load of clean, dry laundry straight out of the machine. I wonder when they will invent a robot to iron and fold my clothes for me, because that's all I still have to do manually. The more expensive washer dryer models actually do have an automatic ironing program. It doesn't take over the ironing chore completely, but it still does so partly. Better than nothing!
