Pros- WW Lemon Creme Cakes
Weight Watchers Lemon Creme Cakes come in a box of six individually-wrapped cakes. This helps keep the Lemon Creme Cakes fresh and easy to slip into your bag or purse for later. I have never had a cake that was dry or not fresh since I've started purchasing these. When you unwrap the cake, you will find a pale yellow frosting gracing the top of the cake, which somewhat resembles a Twinkie.
The first bite surprised me- the lemon flavor was delicious, the lemon creme cake was moist and the frosting complimented the cake nicely. Â I'm usually not a huge fan of cake icing or frosting but these were really, really good! These are definitely not some stale and flavorless cakes, as I would expect a diet lemon cake to be. As I continued to eat the cake, I noticed that the WW cake had a small amount of lemon cream filling inside of the cake, which added a bit of tang to the product, so that it wasn't too sweet. I found the cake beyond satisfying, and for just one POINT, it's hard to go wrong.
Cons Regarding WW Lemon Cream Cakes
There aren't too many negative things that can be said about Weight Watchers Lemon Creme Cakes, other than the fact that they are a bit small. The WW Lemon Creme Cakes measure approximately 2.5" x 1.5" x 1.5", each weighing .95 ounces. I understand that learning correct portion sizes are a big part of weight loss. They are also a bit expensive; I paid $3.49 for six lemon cakes. I have to admit, though, the taste easily makes up for the small size of the cake.
These cakes are not diabetic-friendly.
Oh, and one more thing before I forget: do not make the mistake of eating several of these cakes in one sitting and counting each one is only one point. Yes, the box has this snack item labeled as one point however, they are actually worth a little bit more than one point each. If you eat multiple lemon cakes, use caution when calculating your points value. A one point food item is not a ticket to go overboard. I have read reviews online about people saying that they âgrab a few of these cakes with a glass of milkâ and go to town. This is not a bright idea; do not blow your budget points with an incorrect assumption. When I enjoy a one point food item, I make sure to enjoy only one of them. This helps protect me from having too many points creep up on me without my knowledge.
Full Review of Weight Watchers Lemon Cakes
Weight Watchers is a diet and life style plan that has been used successfully for many years. The basic premise of Weight Watchers is portion control, which is tracked with "POINTS". The formula for calculating the number of points in a particular food is proprietary, however most people realize that it is directly related to the calorie, fat and fiber content in each serving of food. For convenience (and profit, of course), Weight Watchers has created their own brand of snacks with POINTS already counted for the convenience of the dieter. Weight Watchers Lemon Creme Cakes have only 1 POINT each, and are an excellent choice. They make a great supplement to the regular Weight Watchers plan.
The Weight Watchers box describes the cakes as:
"Rich, delicious and satisfying, Weight Watchers lemon cakes help make achieving your everyday successes easier."

I pride myself in being honest about my reviews, and as a New Yorker, I have no trouble letting anyone know if I don't like something- believe me. These Weight Watcher Lemon Creme Cakes are truly delicious and do a great job satisfying my sweet tooth. In my opinion, they taste better than many brands of non-diet lemon snack cakes that I tried before I decided to join Weight Watchers.
I don't know if it was the freshness of the cake or the perfect mixture of tart and sweet, but whoever thought up this recipe did a great job. With foods like this, doing Weight Watchers is a breeze! These lemon cakes completely fulfill my cravings for something sweet. They allow me to indulge without falling off the wagon, so that I can continue my journey to good health.
