What Are Hair Replacement Systems

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Are you thinking of doing something about your thinning hair? Maybe you have been losing it for years and you finally decided enough is enough. Or maybe you just started noticing the thinning and decided you would deal with the hair loss before it got too noticeable. Either way you have a lot of choices on the market when it comes to giving yourself that thick looking head of hair again.

One of the choices that doesn't get much attention is a hair replacement system. What, you haven't heard of that option? Well you probably know it by another name. The more common name is the toupee'. That's right, there are still hair pieces on the market but they are not the same as the toupee's of your dad's or grandfather's era. Those things got the nickname rugs and it was easy to see why. They looked bad and they had a terrible tendency to fall off at the most inopportune of times. In fact they were so bad the toupee' became standard fare in comedy movies. How many times have you seen a hair piece fall off and land in the guy's soup or get caught on someone's umbrella and fly through the air like a flying squirrel. It got so bad that the makers of these hair pieces decided they needed to change the name.

The name they came up with was hair replacement systems. It's not very catchy but at least it doesn't make you laugh just thinking about it. But, not only did they change the name they also improved the product dramatically. There are now several options for base materials that make the system almost completely unnoticeable. They also have drastically improved the material the actual hair is made of. This gives it a look that is much more natural and the colors can match your original hair exactly. The new techniques give a very appealing look for the wearer.

If you need to cover up the balding or thinning on your head you really need to check out hair replacement systems. They can be fitted to match any head shape and their ability to blend with your natural hair is uncanny. Don't spend thousands of dollars on implants or drugs until you check out these new hair systems.

Hair implants or hair plugs as they are also known, are becoming the method of choice for treating baldness. The cost of hair plugs is really not that great when you consider there is very little cost other than the procedure. Also, there is no fear of the hair falling off like a toupee' and, unlike drugs, there are very few side effects. Hair plugs offer a great solution for male pattern baldness.
