If you are asking yourself, "what are the differences between bofollow and dofollow backlinks", please continue reading this article as you will soon discover what these differences are. The differences between nofollow and dofollow backlinks are as follows.

Nofollow backlinks were created due to spam on certain things like forums and blogs. Nofollow backlinks are not supposed to contain any pagerank value because they are in sources which could be potentially used as spam. This does not mean that nofollow backlinks have no value, because they actually do. Nofollow backlinks do have value and do increase your website relevance and in some cases do add pagerank value. The reason I know this is because I have build websites on just nofollow backlinks to see if I could build page rank, and I indeed could and did. So in my opinion, nofollow backlinks are good, but it seems that you do need quite a bit more of them to get a really strong page rank than you do with dofollow backlinks.

Dofollow backlinks are backlinks that are not "blocked" by search engines. Dofollow backlinks are backlinks that are usually found in places that cannot be spammed, like peoples websites, blog rolls, blogs, etc. Dofollow backlinks are usually more powerful and get you a better more relevant page rank, faster than the nofollow backlinks. In my opinion, both types of backlinks are good and a backlink is a backlink, but if you want to be completely safe with backlink building, stick with dofollow backlinks for your website. You will probably have to spend some money to get them and do a lot more work, but they are better backlinks all in all. These are the difference between nofollow and dofollow backlinks.
