Have you ever wondered what a trillion dollars would look like if it was stacked in piles of $100 bills. The following image represents how much space a trillion dollars would take if stacked on top of each other.

The math is based upon the fact that a $10,000 dollar stack of 100 dollar bills is 1/2 an inch thick. Each one of these crates represents $100,000,000 (yes 100 million dollars) and that little red stick in the bottom left corner is supposed to be a human.

This particular design was built using Google's free 3D rendering software Google Sketchup

Could you imagine the money bin Scrooge McDuck would have needed to hold all this cashola?

Heh. I like that. Me an sketchup are not playing nice as I cannot quite get the hang of it. Nor can I save the output as .jpg without a lot of jumping thru hoops. On another note, if you want to know how much trillions are in the real world you might find this article interesting. http://the--realist.blogspot.com/2009/03/mortgaging-our-grandchildren.html
