What Kind Of Leather Furniture To Buy

By | Oct 12, 2010 | 1 Comments | Rating: 0

People are different when it come to the decision of getting leather furniture. There are those who rush to the shops and realize then and there that there are various types and prices. Those people learn things the hard way. There are those who get only what there budget allows them without knowing what they actually got and there are those who searched the net to find out the best leather their money can buy. You should be able to identify which one you are. There is no easy way to earn money, well for most people at least, and that is why it is wise to do the best you can. Why settle for lower quality of a 7 seater when you can get an excellent high quality 5 seater. When it comes to leather small sacrifices might be worth it.

It wouldn't take too long to learn the types of leather that is used to make furniture. If you are in a rush just set aside one hour and write down the different names and types of leather you learned about. It's really quite basic. There is top grain, pure aniline, semi-aniline and suede.

If you want something extremely soft and most natural looking with uniqueness then top grain should do it. It's call top grain because it is made from the top of the animal's body. It is the strongest and most durability. Some folks love to see unique scars and scratches of the hide.

Sometimes too natural isn't very appealing so another type to look for is pure aniline. This is just like the above but dyed and has no pigmentation whatsoever. This would be great for someone who wants an all white or all red set.

Semi aniline leather furniture is a little bit of both top grain and pure. You can have both the durability, color with a little natural pigment. This material looks great in any color you get whether its chocolate brown or fiery red.

Suede has been around and loved by many for as long as I can remember. It's is very classy but with all its beauty there is a very huge downside. It is very difficult to remove stains from. As nice as suede is maybe it wouldn't be best on our sofas.

There is a few things you have to find out about leather furniture before entering even one furniture store. The best to get are either top or full grain but that can just be a matter of opinion. There are other types that are much cheaper and just as durable.
