Do something unique this Valentines Day, Why spend lots of money doing the same thing as everyone else year in year out? There are so many other romantic things that you and your loved one can do.
Here's my top five list of what to do on Valentines Day.
Get Lost In A Maze
Don't know what to do on Valentine's Day ? How about visiting a maze and getting lost in love? Ok so this may not be everyone's idea of a romantic day out but mazes can be great fun. Did you know that mazes were often a place for courting couples to meet in the old days? Spending Valentines Day or part of it in a maze can be a really romantic day out. Depending on where you live and what the weather is going to be like you could take a picnic and really make Valentines Day a special one.
Take A Walk In The ParkWalking in the park is something that many couples enjoy doing all the year round. If you aren't one of these couples then maybe this idea will appeal to you. Maybe walking is something that you do often as a couple, if so you could consider adding some variation by going somewhere extra special on Valentines Day. You obviously don't have to leave it with just a walk. If you plan your day carefully the walk could end in a country pub where you could enjoy a lovely meal for two.
Rent A Cosy Cottage For The WeekendValentines Day doesn't fall on a weekend this year, so you'd have to pick a weekend either side of the 14th. Of course if you are greedy you could do something both weekends, or maybe even for the entire week! Renting a cottage is one of the most popular things to do on Valentines Day. Personally I can't think of anything more romantic than a couple spending quality time together, locked away in their own little world.
Stay At HomeStaying at home for Valentines Day can be romantic, all you need to do is plan. If cooking a meal is something that you don't normally do than this idea could be for you. Plan well in advance and if it's a meal you haven't prepared before the make sure you do your research and have a trial run if you can. There is nothing worse than it going wrong on the night and spoiling the mood.
Proposing On Valentines DayProposing on Valentines Day may not suit everyone. However if you are planning to take your relationship to the next level and are waiting for the right moment to do so, this could be the opportunity you have being waiting for. Valentines Day is a perfect opportunity to manufacture the perfect situation for proposing to your partner.
I hope that this article has given you some ideas of what to do on Valentines Day this year. I hope that you all have a great Valentines Day. Remember that whatever you choose to do just make sure that by the end of Valentines Day your loved one knows just how much you care.
