1. Budget: Before you even lay down any money we all know that everyone is going to have a different budget that they can work with. In fact one of the mattresses that I have heard of that is made of great quality but does not cost a lot is the King Koil mattress. Of course there are several other types that you can choose from that should be able to fit into your budget.

2. Comfort: If you are one of the thousands of people who hate shopping for a new mattress because you do not look for; well the best thing that you can do is spend your time testing out all the different one's to see which one is the most comfortable.

It is best to get one that has a thick padding on top of it; the more padding that it has then you will realize that it is going to provide the most comfort. Of course one thing to remember that the more padding it has then you can expect it to cost more.

3. Brand: Just like shoes there are certain brands that are going to cost more than others however you should be willing to test the mattresses because sometimes you may be able to find one that is not known by the public but may be able to provide the comfort that you are looking for.

Anyone can post some tips for buying a mattress; however you are never going to know what is comfortable to you and your partner until you lie down on it to find out what is comfortable for you and your partner before you spend your money.
