They say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". What does this really mean? That being said, what is beautiful to some may be hideous to others. Who determines what is beautiful? If we judge by Hollywood standards, then a lot of us would be left out. Does beauty have blond hair and blue eyes? Is it 5'9"? Does it have a coke bottle shape? Is it all together different? You be the judge. How do you see yourself? Do you see yourself as others see you? Are do you know exactly who you are, and not what other see you as. It is also said that, "beauty comes from within". Does this mean that your beauty will shine through even if on the outside you are considered to be ugly? The world has very different opinions of what beauty is. Everyone's first impression is visual. No matter what they say. If you don't pass the visual test, you may not get a second chance. In all walks of life you are judged first by what you look like. If you are allowed pass that point then you may be judged on you skill. Don't let this stop you from your dreams, however. Have the confidence to know that skill will always win over beauty. Maybe not at first, but it will eventually.
