Why everybody is making such a big deal about this new wave of smartphones?

Why are they so special?

In this article I am going to try and explain to you why such a simple device has made such a major change in our lives. If we want to understand the secret of its success we must look back to its origin and its purpose. The purpose is simple and common;  Improving life of mankind. Now the way they managed to do this, because it actually worked,  was through the improvements that it has brought to the its “origins”, the simple mobile phone.

We should look at the special set of features that it has because that is what makes it really “smart”. To begin with, a smartphone needed easy and reliable internet access, because access to the worldwide information database is needed in any domain, and any simple chord of today’s life. Also, along with the internet there are many other benefits that the smartphone will have. Internet also means access to the most popular socializing platforms and a continuously improving market of useful applications that the owner may need. The next big feature is the data processor which in many cases is faster than an average PC. Operating the phone will be smoother and faster than ever before thanks to the high frequency processors used these days.

The operating system will be the users interface and it will be a very important factor too because  a good O.S. will ease the work a lot and make complicated things seem much easy.  The interface, OS, will be displayed on a screen, of course, so the next important factor will have to be the display. On smartphones, the screen is usually the main input method too. The best displays out there are using AMOLED, RETINA , LCD-LED and of course capacitive touch-screen technology. If the display will have a high-definition the files you will store on the phone  will take a lot of space and because of that they will need a larger storage size than the usual ones.

HD pictures and videos usually take a lot of storage space so a smartphone will need plenty of space.  All of today’s decent smartphones pack as little as 4 GB of memory just to be sure they can store all the personal files and data. The last but not least feature a smartphone has is the design. The most beautiful designs of mobile phones are seen on smartphones and designers are giving their best to come up with the most breath-taking and unique devices ever.

The actual freedom that it offers is the reason why the apparently simple device has become the most important, and sometimes addictive gadget of the moment.
