What is the best Blackhead Removal Tool?

By | Jun 29, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

So you regularly get blackheads, and don't enjoy the sensation very much at all.
I Don't blame you. You're not alone in this. Blackheads are a real blight on skin, and this can often cause a person real angst and discomfort, as well as leave you with some serious scarring and wreckage you need to get over.

Blackheads come from Sebum (the skin's natural oil) causing a blockage, and which results in pus building up beneath this. Blackheads are usually unsightly and take a number of days to reach the surface of the skin. It is unwise to attempt to speed this process up, or to attempt to squeeze or in another way, remove the blackhead before it reaches the surface of the skin, as most of the time this will cause more damage, and result in the skin around being infected and damaged. As you can probably tell, your average blackhead needs more attention than you average white head, as they are much harder to remove without collateral skin damage. But there is a blackhead remover out there to suit your needs.

It is important to have a number of preventative measures in place to stop blackheads appearing in the first place. Crisis prevention is better than crisis management. These include having a 3 step skincare routine including moisturizing, washing and toning, as well as good diet and regular exercise.

Once you have these in place, you can go about choosing a blackhead removal tool to suit your needs, of which there are probably a number that can adequately fulfil your pursposes.

The first step is to ensure that your skin is clean, and that you have applied consistent head to the affected area with a series of washcloths. This will loosen a blockage and make it that much easier to remove a blockage with the minimum of damage.

1: Squeezing can be useful, but this will often cause scars after the blackhead is gone, so this is the least recommended method. A blackhead removal tool can give you that much more precision when you need it.

2: Blackhead strips are a better option. The function similar to wax strips for leg hairs. They stick to the affected area, then remove them after a time, hopefully withdrawing the blockage with the strip.

3: Blackhead Removal Tools. There are number which fall into this category, and it seems that the options are constantly changing and being updated. Single and double loops and many others can work well, but they are in my opinion only one step up from squeezing.

4: a Blackhead Removal Gun. The best option. It sucks the blockage from the affected area with the minimum of damage.
