If you've been thinking about trying the Insanity DVD workouts, you've found the right spot . Here are the good and bad of this 60 day program.

Shaun T is your personal trainer for these workouts, and he's going to get a lot out of you. Its grueling, no way around it. Shaun T makes you work.

The sessions take under 60 minutes, in many instances around 40 minutes. Shaun T shows the movements to you, but they're hard at first. Pay attention and keep strict form! If you haven't been too active lately, you may have a hard time at first. Remember that in the end, it will be worth it.

Even though I started the workouts in decent shape, my legs were burning from the start on the first day. They were sore the next day and, well, stayed that way. There's a lot of leg work in the Insanity Workouts. All of the lower body work will have your quads and calves burning. But you will find that you're not only slimming down, but that you are also more athletic.

Unlike conventional workouts, the Insanity workouts translate to activities outside of your workout. You're going to be faster, and feel years younger.

I had wanted a lot of ab development, and it happened. I can't say for sure that it was the Insanity DVD workout ab work, but I shed over 20 pounds so I was going to show more separation too. My core wasn't sore like my legs, but the improvement was there.

The chest and back part of the Insanity workout wasn't as much as I had hoped. It may have been due to my shortcomings, because sometimes the upper body work comes at the final part and I'm so worn out from the other stuff that I could not put out enough effort!

You are going to slim down with this Insanity workout, it is impossible not to. If you are desiring to making a change in your body, and a change in your life, this is the best way to do it. One of the most unique parts of the workout is Shaun T. He is a great motivator for you, and on the Insanity Workout DVD he says the best things when you don't want to continue, to keep you going.

You could spend a lot of money on gym memberships and trainers and not get any more development than you will from fighting through Insanity workouts for 60 days.
