When Do I Ovulate? Find Out Your Ovulation Date

By Edited Aug 17, 2015 0 0

When you want to know when do I ovulate, you need to find out a few extras to ensure you're calculating the time correctly.

They can be simple little things, and once you get your schedule down, you can start trying for a new addition to your family today.

Some ways that you can find out when you ovulate are either easier to moderate depending on the way you go about it.

There are specialized kits available that allow you to test your urine to tell if you are ovulating or not. This can be simple, but costly. This is something that many people use since a lot of women do not know their cycle length, and are confused by the days. This also helps if you do not keep track of your monthly periods, or you are inconsistent with them.

Another way to go about it would be to calculate the time your period started, and finding out the length of your cycle length.

This is the area between periods, since you need to know when your egg would be good to fertilize. Lengths of cycles vary depending on the woman. The period when you're the most fertile is usually between a week to two weeks after your period depending on the length of the cycle.

This should be the time where you should try to conceive since you have more of a chance to get pregnant during this time.

However this is not always consistent because some women have longer cycles than other women do, so you cannot always guarantee that you will ovulate 14 days after the start of your period. Some women can ovulate as early as day 10 and as late as day 20 in their cycle.

If you have extra long cycles you may want to count backwards 14 days from the start of your period and see what cycle day that usually is for you. That is most likely the period of time you are most fertile.

Another way is to talk to your doctor about the options that are available to you. This is one of the best ways to go about it since everyone might need a little help to bring life into this world. They want to make sure they help you as much as they can by giving you the best conceiving advice there is out there. They can also recommend ways for you to become pregnant.
