What makes the SEO business so cool is that you never really stop learning. When you think you know everything, Google rolls out something new. SEO is constantly evolving as new ideas are created. The folks at Google promise that 2010 will feature some exciting new developments. While some of this is just website gossip, there are grains of truth in all of it. Try these SEO predictions for 2010 on for size.

Social Media Influence on SERPs
Are we there yet? Not quite, but we are pretty close. Social media influence on SERPs will continue to be more important in the coming years as social media models evolve and develop. Search engines will need to find new ways to feature socially popular stories and websites within SERPs in a way that's as fair as possible.

This can get a little tricky, as not all websites are on board with social media just yet. It wouldn't be fair to exclude them for this reason alone. Social media will continue to enjoy a stronger influence, but Google will need to find better ways to decipher it.

Page Load Time and Page Speed Will Emerge as a Quality Factor
It only makes sense that Google will begin using page load time and page speeds to decide who to put at the top. Though this won't be a single influential factor, it will likely be one consideration among thousands that Google uses when it decides how to rank. Fast running pages make the Internet smoother for all, so It's logical that Google would do everything it could to encourage this. If you're trying to boost your SEO, you might want to consider hiring some professional help with article writing for SEO.

Slower running pages won't be ignored, but they'll likely lose some advantage. Sites sharing hosting on shared servers will also still be ranked, as Google will likely be pretty fair about it. Faster loading sites will get more merit over the slower competition.

Dynamic Content Will Need to be More Meaningful to be SEO Friendly
Dynamic content was once considered the quicksand of the SEO business because its complexity was just too difficult to optimize. Most likely, we'll just have to suck it up and live with it. Not everyone wants to be textual or go minimalistic, so search engines will naturally find ways to decipher dynamic content in a way that's SEO friendly.

I think you are correct on all of your points so far. Google also made some changes as to how they rank long tail stuff which has had some affect on sites.
