By the time you've finished reading this guide, you'll know where to buy a a used cell phone and be able to save lots of money in the process.

Let's begin by talking about why you should buy a used cell. The primary benefit is to safe money. It's very possible to save anywhere from $50 to $200 on a phone, depending on the make, model, and condition. New phones are becoming more expensive all the time, so it makes good sense to save a few dollars and buy a used model.

So the big question: Where can you buy them? One of the most convenient options available to you is to buy online. A quick search at your favorite search engine will reveal many websites which sell used cell phones at cut-rate prices. Sometimes these are ex-display models, or have been refurbished. These phones are likely to be as good as new, but much cheaper.

Another good source is internet auction sites such as eBay. Buying from an auction means there's always the chance of securing a great deal by bidding, and hopefully not having too much competition - so you can get a great deal.

Finally, you can offset the cost of your new phone even further by selling your old one. There's many websites and companies who specialize in buying old cell phones. Of course, you may not receive a lot of money from this – but if you no longer need your old cell, it's a great way to make your new one a little cheaper. It's a good idea to shop around and see how much you can get for your old one, as you may receive better offers from different companies.

So to summarize, this guide has shown you some of the advantages to buying a used cell phone online. In particular, we looked at where to buy them, and how selling your old phone can help give you some seed money to buy your next one.
