Using lighted garland for Christmas decorations is one of the easiest ways to brighten your home for the holidays. The wide variety of that is available makes it one of the most versatile of all holiday decorations. It comes in all kinds of shapes, sizes and textures and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. How to Make Your Own Lighted Garland for Christmas

Now what happens if you find that perfect garland for your home but it isn’t pre-lit? Well that’s easy just add lights yourself. Don’t worry it’s easy than it sounds. Start by finding a friend or family member to help you. Then each of you takes the opposite ends of one strand of lights and one strand of garland. Now step away from one another while holding onto your ends. Now one of you needs to start twisting the two strands together. A ten foot section of garland shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete. Then you can zip tie or wire tie the ends so they don’t unravel and there you go your very own homemade pre-lit garland. This is also helpful when you want to use the new LED Christmas lights but can’t find garland with them.
