The Best Authorized Discount Ticket Brokers
The most expensive place to purchase tickets, except one- and two-day tickets, is from Disney. There aren’t even discounts for purchasing in advance. Luckily, there are authorized ticket resellers where you can purchase discount Disney World tickets.
Undercover Tourist: One of the most favorite authorized Disney World discount ticket brokers of Disney fans worldwide. Undercover Tourist includes in their ticket pricing tax and shipping. Shipping to Canada or The United Kingdom will cost extra.
Visit Orlando: Is the official sales and marketing center for Orlando and the Orange County area in Florida. They sell Walt Disney World tickets, but it is not their biggest priority; lots of discounts for the Orlando area can be found on their website. Their prices do not list tax or shipping. When it comes to shipping, you can either pick them up at their office or have them delivered via FedEx 2-day delivery or FedEx overnight. They do not ship outside of the continental US. There is one fee for each type of ticket order. Tickets are e-tickets that you simply exchange at Walt Disney Worlds ticket centers, so no shipping charges apply. There is a fee-free cancellation/change policy for up to 7 days to your use date (provided by you when you place your tickets in your cart); you may choose any use date you want, but you cannot exchange your tickets prior to the use date.
AAA: A decent option for buying discount tickets to Walt Disney World, but not necessarily the best option. You do need to be a member of AAA to take advantage of their discount ticket offers. Of all authorized resellers, AAA usually offers the least discount. However, each AAA office sets their own prices by region and they can vary greatly. The best discounts tend to come from AAA South—where annual passes are sold with a discount. Some people report that they’ve called an AAA South office and have been able to purchase over the phone and have them sent to their home as long as they are a member. Others report that they have had no success with this and were told they must stop by an AAA South office to purchase tickets. Yet others have been told they must live within the AAA South district to purchase tickets.
Of course, where to purchase the ticket is only half the battle. If you want to spend the least amount of money on tickets, you must purchase the right ticket in the first place. Disney offers an assortment of ticket options that can be added to base tickets if chosen. Spending a little bit of time on ticket research can save you hundreds of dollars.
