"Which foods cause eczema?" This is one of the most popular questions that comes from people living with this skin disease. Believe it or not, a lot of what you eat has a direct effect on your skin. Your skin is an organ just like any other one in your body, and it needs to be taken care of. And, when it comes to eczema and your skin, certain foods can trigger eczema to flare up more often than usual.

It can be hard to determine which foods cause eczema, as every person is different. Some foods that affect one person may not affect another, and vice versa. It helps to pay close attention to your daily diet and monitor your skin. If you notice that your eczema is reacting badly on one day (especially after eating), analyze what it was that you ate and make a mental note of what it was. If you notice the same reaction again after eating that same meal or food item, chances are, it's what's causing your eczema to flare up. - Allergens (dust, mold, mildew, pollen)

- Soaps, fragrances and laundry detergents that are filled with chemicals

While you should never rule out your diet and which foods cause eczema, considering the other causes above will help you not only understand this skin condition, but also help you treat it effectively. Get control of your eczema before you let eczema take control of you!
