Why It Is Good To Use Acne Creams
There are a lot of acne creams for sale, most of them will work if you
use it. There is no cure all for acne, but by using some of the acne
skin creams you can achieve a clearer complexion, and many less
breakouts. You may have a few side effects from acne creams,
use the one that is best for you.
Let me tell you what where
acne comes from. It is when hormones and bacteria, join forces around a
hair follicle, causing an infection, We all know the end result:
whiteheads, blackheads, and the dreaded pimple. There is also some
scarring involved from the acne. In the United States more than 80% of
people have had some form of acne. That means almost everyone you know
has had a pimple at one time or another.
The great thing about
acne creams, is that they kill bacteria, and help to clear up your
skin. Benzoyl peroxide is one of the best acne treatment ingredients,
it stops the body from secreting to much oil, and kills the bad
bacteria. The sebaceous glands oil is trapped in the skin, and causes
many types of your acne problems, like blackheads, whiteheads and of
course pimples. The oils also give your hair a shiny glow. Salicylic
acid and resourcinal are products that breakdown the core of blackheads
and whiteheads, and then destroy the materials inside them. Sulphur
kills and disintegrates the pus that is in the core of the pimples. The
real reason that we use acne cream, is because we need to dissolve the
pus, and kill that bacteria, that is trapped within the blackheads and
whiteheads.
There can be burning, itching and at times some
blotches from the acne skin care creams. Stop using anything that burns
your face. By no means should you ever scratch or pick at your acne. This can casue acne scars. If it is a prescription call your dermatologist, if an
over-the-counter cream throw it out.
Clear skin does not
happen overnight. So be patient, and continue to use the acne cream
system, you have chosen. Even if you eat right, wash daily, and use
your acne treatment cream, it still takes from 4 to 8 weeks to have
perfect skin.
You can buy either a single acne cream product
or a whole treatment regimen for clearing up your skin. Base it on
whatever works best for you. This may be a longer process if your acne
is severe. You may have to start with a prescription medication and
then move down to a over-the counter cream, to get the maximum skin
results you desire.
