In my humble opinion, passive income is definitely the way to go. It has been said by many that passive income is THE holy grail of making money online or offline. I agree with this statement for several reasons.

First of all, I think time is a lot more valuable than money. For example, would you rather be earning $1,000,000 a year while working 80+ hours a week or $75000 while working 4 hours a week? There is no wrong answer to this question. Different people like different things. But for me, time is so much more valuable than money. Additionally, I remember recently reading a study that basically said that money CAN buy you happiness up to $75000 a year. After that happiness levels basically plateau... so what's the point?

It's been said by many who have gotten rich and become millionaires and billionaires that using their money to buy fancy cars, private jets, and the like does not create more happiness. These things only bring temporary pleasure.

Wouldn't it be a lot better to have a steady passive income that earns you more than you need every year and that allows you to spend your time doing things you most love to do. The things that make you happy. To some, this might mean contributing to others. Contributing time through volunteering or contributing money through charity. For others, this means pursuing an acting career because you are passionate about acting. Passive income gives you the means to pursue whatever interests you may have for fun instead of trying to make a living at it.

As you can see from what I have written so far in this article, I am a huge fan of passive income. I've always been. And I always will be.

The first step if you want to build a full-time passive income for yourself is that you need to make the decision that you want it. Set a goal. A SMART goal about how much passive income you want to be earning and set a deadline. Make it realistic.

The next step in my opinion is you need to start taking MASSIVE action. Try a bunch of different ways to make passive income one at a time and see what works for you. Don't get stuck looking for the elusive "perfect" passive income opportunity. You have to start thinking with a "good enough" mindset. In other words, when you find a passive income opportunity that you can really see yourself pursuing, go for it even though you might have some reservations.

With all that being said, I wish you the best of luck.
