Why Switch To LED GU10 Bulbs?

Going "green" does not mean that you have to change your entire lifestyle. It often means you just simply substitute newer more environmentally friendly technology for the older standards. The new GU10 LED bulbs are made of resistant impact plastic, thus they do not break, if dropped, like a standard glass bulb. Were they to be split open for whatever reason, LED bulbs do not have harmful mercury like their fluorescent counterparts.

GU10 LED light bulbs are manufactured in different wattages and various hues ranging from warm to cool. They are perfect anywhere that a traditional GU10 bulb would fit. They are particularly good for lighting kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, basements and so on. They are also great for locations where directional lighting is desired--from accenting a painting to serving as under cabinet lighting. It is true that LED bulbs are more expensive for now. That will become less true as time goes by. But you should also consider the cost of the bulbs versus the amount of money you will save from vastly lower energy use and very infrequent replacement. The amount of energy savings alone more than pays for the bulb over its very long life.
