Why Use a Trailer Tent?

The essence of camping is to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, with all its modern facilities and equipment, and get in touch with nature once again. Breathing in the fresh air, feeling the uneven ground and smelling the fresh soil is a pleasure for outdoor lovers. But for those who are more at ease with the material comforts of the modern age even when out camping, they need not worry. A trailer tent can provide as much comfort as possible for camping newbies while staying out in a campsite.

These kinds of tents are designed to attend to the usual distresses of camping. There are three things that people often complain about. First is the trouble of preparing meals without the usual ease that you can get in a kitchen. Second is when you are forced to kip in a sleeping bag on the ground. For people who are used to sleeping in soft mattresses this can get really uncomfortable. And lastly, the hassle that usually accompanies a camping trip: large bags, beddings, and bulky camping gears like tents and poles.

In a very clever utilization of space, a mini kitchen is tucked inside these trailer tents. When they are not yet unfolded, the collapsed contraption that looks like a wagon on two wheels which you can attach at the back of your car and bring to a campsite. When the "wagon" is opened, the rear end opens to reveal the kitchen counter complete with a sink, stove, and even food compartments and shelves. This is a luxury in camping indeed.

When it comes to sleeping arrangements, a comfortable mattress is already provided for. The trailer tent base unit, where all the collapsible walls are folded into, opens up and serves as the bed frame where a foldable mattress is laid out. When the entire tent is already erected, it also covers this bed area. Sometimes this is even partitioned and it truly looks like a separate room. Because the mattress is foldable, it can be folded to resemble a sofa seat during the day.

Packing and unpacking for any trip is always a drag because you want to bring as few bags as possible, but you find that there are a lot of necessities that you want to bring along. With this collapsible trailer tent, all the space in the compact, wheeled wagon is fully utilized and cleverly compiled. All the poles, waterproof tent walls, ceiling and floor is folded neatly inside-and yes, even the portable kitchen and mini bed. Everything you need for shelter is contained in one contraption that is attached at the back of the car. This gives you additional room for a couple of folding chairs and a table.

When you are camping you are exposed to the elements which, admittedly, can be a burden sometimes. But buying an actual mobile trailer is expensive, and quite overboard if you are only an occasional camper. Luckily, it is still possible to bring the usual comforts of trailer tents into a cheaper and more practical collapsible tent.
