If you are going to propose everlasting love to the woman of your dreams, you don't do it with a fake diamond. I am not saying to bankrupt yourself, but cheating out in fake jewelry should not be an option.

Many fine jewelers offer financing, but what that ring is supposed to offer (in part) is the promise that you will provide for a woman, and if you can't buy her a decent ring you probably can't pay to get married either. Save up and treat her right, do it special, and don't cut corners in cheesy ways. Instead of a diamond, consider her birthstone. A real stone of any kind is better than a fake diamond, and will mean so much to your special lady as the years go by. And proposals don't have to be wine and roses chased by champagne, it can be a toast in front of friends, or a cuddle on a dark beach, which is not only romantic but free! A favorite restaurant in my opinion is better than an unfamiliar, uncomfortable fancy one, and a fine meal for two is likely to cost almost eighty to a hundred dollars a head, that is money you can put toward a really nice ring as opposed to a cheap one. Cubic zirconia engagement rings are going to get a poor reaction when she finds out and are in my opinion in the poorest possible taste, take my advice and pass on the fake stone.
